We recently added some information that will help you and your organization isolate and address sales that are in a “Warning,” “Unverified,” or “Unchecked” state.
Previously, when you viewed an individual sale in Daily Summaries, we would show limited information about the products on that sale. You would see the name of the product, the number of units sold, and the product’s price. Now, we’ve added the category of the product and the number of grams for a unit of that product to help isolate issues related to those fields being miskeyed or missing.
With this extra information, you can find a given product that may have a higher gram value in the Point of Sale (POS) system than was originally intended, for example.
For instance, in the example below, we can see that there are two Edible products on the sale says that appear to have flagged this sale for exceeding the edible purchase limit. The Raspberry gummy product is set to 60 grams per unit, when based on the name we'd expect it to be 1 gram per unit. Additionally, the Watermelon edible product is set to 120 grams per unit, when based on the name of the product we'd expect it to be 1 gram per unit.
Additionally, we have added some other details to the sale drawer which will help track down issues with the source data from the POS, namely the customer’s license expiration date.
We feel that providing this information to you will help you see the information as it’s coming from the source, so you can either discuss the data issue with the CRB so that they can correct it in their POS or you can build an SOP which makes allowances for particular types of erroneous data.
