How Green Check gets Gram values from your Point of Sale

If you want to learn more about how we use POS data to set the grams values for a given product, please check out the helpful info below These should help in case there are any products that appear to be triggering purchase limit exceptions in Green Check.

Alleaves

  • We look at the “Usable Weight” on the Item record

Biotrack

  • We look at the “Usable Weight” on the line item of the sale.
    • If that field is empty or missing, we fall back to the Product’s “Default Usable Weight”.

Blaze

  • We look at the product to see if it is weight-based or unit-based.
  • If the product indicates that it has a 'Custom Grams' value, we look at that custom weight.
  • If the product is not a 'Custom Grams' product and is weight-based, we look to see the weight sold (eighth, half gram, full gram, fourth, half ounce, or ounce).
  • If the product is unit-based, we look at the concentration / potency section, specifically for the milligrams of thc.

Brytemap

  • We look at the product's "Size Map"  which has a range of weights for this product, and we use the upper weight to determine number of grams.

Canix

  • We look at the product's "Weight Unit" and convert the relevant "Weight" to grams.

Cova

  • If the product is an edible, we use the THC Content in the Specifications section
    • If there is no value there, we use the Net Weight in the Specifications section

Dutchie (FKA Leaflogix)

  • We start by looking explicitly at the Dutchie product to see if the product has a value present for the THC Content. If the THC Content Unit is a weight-based unit (and is not a percentage) we convert the THC Content to grams and use that as the “Grams” value for the product.
    • If any of the conditions in this step above are not met, we fall back to the Dutchie Product Grams field and save this as the “Grams” value in GCV.
      • If the Product Grams field is null, then we look at the Dutchie sale, specifically the Item Weight and the Item’s Unit Weight then we convert this value to grams and save this as the “Grams” value in GCV.
        • If these values are null, then we look at the Dutchie sale, specifically the Flower Equivalent value then we convert this value to grams and save this as the “Grams” value in GCV. We know not every store or jurisdiction use or require flower equivalency, which is why we can’t rely as heavily on this value.

Flowhub

  • If the product is an edible or sold as “Each”, first we look at the Cannabinoid Information section to see if there is a THC value set there (we ignore if the THC unit of measure is a percentage)
    • If the product is an edible but the Cannabinoid Information section has a THC percentage, we instead look at the Product Weight
      • If the Product Weight is missing or empty, we fall back to the Unit of Measure to Grams Multiplier
  • If the product is not an edible or an “Each” product, we look at the Product Weight
    • If the Product Weight is null or missing, we fall back to the “Unit of Measure to Grams Multiplier”.

Greenbits

  • We look at the line item of the sale to ascertain whether the product is weight-based or unit-based.
    • If the product is unit-based, we look at the weight value entered for that product
    • If the product is weight-based, we look at the weight sold

GrowFlow

  • If the product has a unit of measure of "Each", we look at that product's Unit Weight
  • If the product is weight-based, we look at the "Weight Grams" on the sale line item

IndicaOnline

  • If the product is weight-based, we look at the Item Quantity on the sale to get the number of grams sold.
  • If the product is unit-based, we look at the product's Net Weight to determine number of grams sold.

Meadow

  • We look at the options section of the product, specifically the 'content' section to determine number of grams for the product sold.

Metrc

  • We look at the item's "Unit Weight" to determine number of grams sold.

MJ Freeway

  • We calculate the number of grams sold by looking at the product's "Medicated Net Weight"
