The negative news feature provides your FI with actionable insights about your CRBs. The sources for these insights span many different sectors, including but not limited to Media, Government Authorities, Licensing Authorities, and Securities Regulators.
These source documents are scoured for key phrases to determine whether or not the document is a "Negative News document". You can rest assured that we are only alerting you to news that may influence your organization's decision on whether/how to bank a given CRB (including fraud, warning/violation letters from licensing authorities, court cases, etc.)
You will receive an email for the Negative News document that was found, which includes the name of your CRB, a description of the document, and a link to the document. Note: In some cases, the link will be to a government portal website and you may not be able to access the document without a login.
This feature is made possible by our integration with CRB Monitor. As long as your CRB has a license linked to CRB Monitor, you will receive any negative news that's surfaced about that CRB.
This is a beta feature, so we welcome any feedback you have about the content you receive and/or the format.
These emails will go to Account Owners and Account Admins. If at any point you'd like to update your notification preferences, you can do so by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner of the Green Check app and updating your 'Negative News' preferences (currently email only for this feature).
