Add and manage multiple account numbers for a parent/child relationship structure within Green Check
If you have parent/child relationships in Green Check, you will now be able to manage multiple account numbers for both shared or non-shared account number scenarios.
Create New Parent
When creating a parent account, you will make the important decision whether to share ALL or NO account numbers across the parent and its children. This question to share or not share account numbers will drive the structure for the parent and all of its existing and future children accounts.
Once you answer this question about the account number structure, you will be prompted to add an account number during the parent creation process.
How to manage shared or non-shared account numbers:
- If the parent/child structure uses a shared account number setup, you can manage account numbers within the parent account's Internal tab.
- If the parent/child structure uses a non-shared account number setup, you can manage account numbers for each individual child within their respective Internal tabs.
Shared Account Numbers
- Internal tab: If the parent/child structure uses a shared account number setup, you can manage account numbers within the parent account's Internal tab.
- Approving Child Accounts: If you are approving a child account with a shared account number to its parent, you will not be able to add account numbers during the account approval process, as all account numbers will be managed at the parent account level.
- Activity tab: You will be able to toggle between shared account numbers to see transactional data and individual child locations to see sales data specific to that location.
- Monitoring Review: You will be able to create a review (manually) and select which accounts to include or set up an auto-generated review frequency in the parent's Internal tab.
Non-Shared Account Numbers
- Internal tab: If the parent/child structure uses a non-shared account number setup, you can manage account numbers for each individual child within their respective Internal tabs.
- Approving Child Accounts: If non-shared, you will be able to add a unique account number for a child account during the approval process.
- Activity tab: You will be able to toggle between each child account's unique account numbers to see transactional/sales data.
- Monitoring Review: You will be able to create a review (manually) and select which sales locations and respective account numbers to include or set up an auto-generated review frequency in the parent's Internal tab.
