New Standard Requirement: Certificate of Insurance

We hope you, your family and colleagues are doing well amongst all that is going on right now.

We remain committed to supporting you now and in the future, and despite the unusual and uncertain times we currently find ourselves in, we’re excited to share an update we’ve made to help you better manage your cannabis account relationships.

Certificate of Insurance

We have expanded our Green Check standard requirements to also include Certificate of Insurance. We've found that the majority of our clients added this as a custom due diligence requirement, so we've added it to our list of standard requirements moving forward.

What does this mean?

Every cannabis business on Green Check is asked to upload a standard set of due diligence documents, in addition to the custom requirements your institution requests. These documents are:

  • Entity Formation Documents
  • Certificate of Good Standing
  • Income Statement
  • Balance Sheet
  • Tax Return
  • Policy and Procedure Manual
  • Property Title/Lease

Moving forward, this list of requirements will also include Certificate of Insurance. If you currently list the GCV standard due diligence requirements in any internal documentation, please be sure to update those documents accordingly.

Additionally, you'll see this new requirement on the Documents tab of any of your existing Active or Pending accounts. If you'd like, you can upload a document into this requirement yourself or request the business to upload a document to this requirement (both are optional) using the "Update" button in the top right corner when viewing this requirement. If you don't want/need this document stored on the Account record in Green Check for your existing accounts, you can simply approve the requirement as-is.

We're continuing to work on some exciting improvements that we're eager to share with you, but until then - please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Thank You

We love hearing what you have to say, so please send any feedback or questions about this update to feedback@greencheckverifed.com.
