This enhancement ensures that cannabis companies holding such licenses can seamlessly complete the license upload step in their application process. With this feature, you can specify their Tribal Nation license details, streamlining your onboarding experience.
How to Use the New Feature
Uploading a Tribal Nation issued marijuana license is straightforward and designed to integrate smoothly with your existing application process. Below, you will find a step-by-step guide to help you navigate through this new feature with ease.
Step-by-Step Guide

Navigate to the application flow:
- After logging into your account, proceed to the Documents section of your application where you are required to upload your marijuana license.

Select Tribal Nation Checkbox:
- In the upload modal, select the "Tribal nation" checkbox under the state field to proceed.

Choose Your Tribal Nation:
- Choose your licensing Tribal Nation and select your license type. A list of recognized Tribal Nations will be provided. Scroll through the list (or start typing to search) and select the appropriate Tribal Nation that issued your license.

Enter License Details:
- After selecting your Tribal Nation & license type, you will need to provide specific details about your license. This includes:
- License Number: Enter the unique number assigned to your license.
- Expiration Date: Specify the date when the license will expire.
- License Upload: Upload a copy of your license to this field.

- Once all necessary information is filled in, review the details carefully to ensure accuracy. After verifying the information, click the "Upload" button to complete the license upload.
Important Notes
- Compliance Status: Licenses issued by Tribal Nations will not be processed through the compliance rules engine (CRE). Instead, they will be marked as "unchecked" within the Green Check system.
- Verification: Ensure that all information entered is accurate to prevent any delays or issues with your application.

Will my Tribal Nation license be subject to the same compliance checks as state-issued licenses?
- No, Tribal Nation licenses will bypass the compliance rules engine and be marked as "unchecked" in the Green Check system as there are not associated rules for each Tribal Nation.
Can I change my Tribal Nation license details after submission?
- You cannot modify existing licenses but can add additional licenses by going to your Company Profile. If you would like to upload a non-Tribal Nation issued license in the future, please contact us for assistance.
