Product Update: Account Monitoring 2.0 Full Walkthrough

What's new in Account Monitoring

We've made a lot of improvements to the Account Monitoring review over the past few months, and this page brings them together so they're easy to follow.

Start with the short walkthrough video below for a top-to-bottom tour of the updated review. Then use the quick-reference table to revisit any feature on its own: what it is, and what it means for your reviews.

A few of these updates changed how variance is calculated and where some information lives. We flag those clearly so nothing catches you off guard. If anything is unclear, our support team is here to help.

Quick reference

Everything covered in the video, in the same order. Use this to find any feature again later.

In the walkthrough What it means for you
Opening a review Loads section by section instead of one spinner; a "Data Last Updated" stamp shows when the data was last refreshed.
Account overview tabs Each account's info is organized into tabs (Data Summary, Tasks, Negative News, Ingestions, Users), with sales/deposits/withdrawals, totals, active days, and latest record dates.
License details License info is now a sortable table; the timeline view is still there as well.
Multi-location (MUO) accounts Parent and child data show at the right level for shared and unshared accounts.
Omitting transactions

Exclude non-sale deposits from variance; they stay visible in the "omitted transactions" view, tagged with a reason, and are removed consistently everywhere.

When you're done omitting transactions, click Refresh Data in the banner at the top of the review. The status changes to Updating while the recalculation runs. This usually takes 10 to 15 minutes. You can keep working in the review during the update.

When the recalc completes, the status returns to Up to date and your variance reflects all your omissions.

Variance section Totals along the top, then variance by payment type so you can see what's driving a gap.
Transaction Analysis table One row per payment type; click to open a drawer with period/peer comparisons.
Standard-deviation insights On top of the threshold-based insights, we added standard deviation insights. Auto-flags numbers outside an account's normal range (trailing 12 periods) across deposits, sales, withdrawals, and variance.
How variance is calculated Deposits minus sales, capped at ±100%.

Important note: As part of this initial launch, we excluded transfers in the variances throughout the app; however, due to your feedback, we reverted that change and will be rolling that out shortly (7/2/2026 goal). You will have full control and be able to omit transfers on your own as needed.
Tagging vendors and counterparties

This is a net-new feature—please contact your Relationship Manager for more information on Counterparties.

Tag who a deposit or withdrawal was with, individually or in bulk; manage them on a Counterparties tab.

Narrative When you insert the template, it now auto-summarizes omitted transactions by code and reason.
Reviews that stay current Reviews refresh on their own if core data or sales data changes (or when you omit deposits); if a review is completed before the data has the chance to refresh, you will be notified and it will be placed in a Needs Review status so you can see the insights that have changed as a result.
Exporting the PDF The PDF now matches the Completed screen (how the data looked when you actually completed the review) and generates in the background.
