1. Creating a New Offer
You can create a new Marketplace Offer directly from the Marketplace tab in Settings.
-
Click New Offer.
-
Enter a Display Name — this is the name CRBs will see in the Marketplace.
-
Enter an Internal Offer Name — this is only visible to your team and helps you identify the offer internally.
-
Click Create Offer to start building.

📌 Tip: You can also click on an existing offer card to edit or deactivate it.
2. Editing Your Offer
Once created, your offer can be customized to best represent your business. Editing includes three key areas:
Offer Details
-
Offer Name: The title of your offer as it will appear in the Marketplace.
-
External Description: A short overview of your offer — what makes it stand out and how it benefits CRBs.
-
Key Value Pairs (Attributes): Add up to 3 attributes to highlight differentiators. Each attribute includes:
-
Attribute Title (e.g., “Lowest price in the industry”)
-
Attribute Description (e.g., “Tiered plans so you don’t pay top dollar”)
-
-
Images:
-
Large Banner Image: Used in the expanded drawer view
-
Thumbnail Icon: Displayed alongside your card in the Marketplace
-
📌 Best practice: Keep your descriptions short, clear, and benefit-oriented. Use images that are high-quality and brand-consistent.
Due Diligence Templates
You can create an offer that can be seen by both plant touching and non-plant touching businesses. Because of this, you must tie your offer to Due Diligence (DD) templates. This ensures CRBs applying through your offer complete the right DD requirements:
-
Plant-Touching Template: Applied if your offer is for plant-touching businesses.
-
Non-Plant-Touching Template: Applied if your offer is for non-plant-touching businesses.
📌 Best practice: Review your templates before linking them — CRBs will see these as part of their onboarding process.
Filters for Targeting
Filters allow you to define which CRBs see your offer in the Marketplace. Available filters include:
-
Main Category (e.g., Banking, Lending, Insurance)
-
Retail, Wholesale, or Both
-
States (limit or exclude states as needed)
📌 Best practice: Use filters to target your ideal audience — for example, only retail dispensaries in your preferred states.
3. Previewing Your Offer
Two preview types are available:
-
Offer Card (Marketplace View)
-
Shows how your offer card appears in the Marketplace gallery view.
-
Includes your thumbnail, title, and a short description.
-
This is the “first impression” CRBs will see.
-
-
Offer Drawer (Expanded View)
-
Shows what a CRB sees when they click on your card.
-
Displays full offer details, large banner image, attributes, and linked templates.
-
This is where CRBs explore the details before engaging.
-
📌 Best practice: Always preview both views to ensure your message is clear and professional.

Image Specs and Best Practices
If you notice your images are being cut off or look distorted in previews, follow these guidelines:
-
Large Banner Image: 870 x 380px (or same aspect ratio; marketing image encouraged), JPG or PNG, under 5MB
-
Thumbnail Icon: 160 × 160px recommended (or same ratio), PNG with transparent background preferred
4. Saving vs. Activating
Marketplace Offers include two different states that impact visibility and updates:
-
Saving Changes
-
Anytime you edit your offer, you must save those changes.
-
-
-
Saving applies your edits to the live version.
-
If your offer is active, CRBs will immediately see the updated version after saving.
-
If your offer is inactive, changes are saved but not visible until activated.
-
-
-
Activating/Deactivating Offers
-
Active offers are visible in the Marketplace and discoverable by CRBs.
- All required fields must be filled in before activating an offer to ensure offer completeness.
-
Inactive offers are hidden from the Marketplace, but can still be edited.
-
Deactivation does not delete your offer — it simply removes it from public view.
-
📌 Best practice: Keep your offers active only when they’re ready to be discovered. Use deactivation for seasonal campaigns or when testing new content privately.
5. Managing Your Offer
From the Settings > Marketplace page, you can:
-
Create a new offer
-
Edit or update an existing offer
-
Preview how it appears
-
Save new changes to keep your live offer up to date
-
Deactivate when the offer is no longer relevant
📌 Tip: Offers marked as Active are visible immediately to CRBs in the Marketplace.
FAQs
Can I have more than one active offer at the same time?
Yes. You can create and manage multiple offers. Each one can be targeted with filters to different CRB audiences, or for different products that you offer.
What happens if I deactivate an offer?
Deactivation removes the offer from the Marketplace, but it remains saved in your account. You can reactivate it at any time.
Do CRBs see unpublished changes?
No. CRBs only see the last saved version of your offer. Any edits remain in draft form until you save them, or you can deactivate offers if they are not ready for public viewing yet.
Can I delete an offer completely?
At this time, offers can be deactivated but not permanently deleted. Keeping offers archived ensures a consistent history for your team.
How do I know if my images are the right size?
Use the recommended specs in the Previewing Your Offer section. If images look cut off or distorted, resizing to the suggested dimensions usually resolves it.
How will I know if someone is interested in my offer?
You’ll be notified by email when a CRB starts an application for your offer, and again when they finish and submit their application. You can also track these applications anytime in the Invited tab within the Accounts section of Green Check.
