Account Audit Trail

How to view a history of account-related activity in Green Check

The Account Audit Trail gives your team visibility into key changes and events that occur on an account over time. You can access it directly from the account drawer in Manage Accounts. This is an initial release and we'll continue expanding what's captured in the audit trail based on your feedback.

⚡ Quick Start Guide

  1. Go to Accounts in Green Check and select Manage Accounts.
  2. Click on any account to open the account drawer.
  3. Scroll to the Audit Trail section to view a chronological history of activity for that account.

Where to Find the Audit Trail

The audit trail is located inside the account drawer. To access it, navigate to Accounts → Manage Accounts and click on the account you want to review. The drawer will open on the right side of the screen, where you'll find the audit trail displaying a history of account-related events in chronological order. Only Admins and Account Owners will be able to see this tab.

What the Audit Trail Tracks

The audit trail captures key account activity so your team always has a clear record of what's happened. As this is the initial release, we'll be adding more tracked events over time based on feedback. Here is what is currently included:

Event Type What Triggers It How It Displays
Account Invite A user invites a CRB and assigns them a Due Diligence application "[User] invited [CRB Name] and assigned the [Template Name] Due Diligence application"
Account Approval A user approves a CRB's application "[User] approved the [Template Name] application"
Document Review A document's status is changed within a Due Diligence requirement "[User] [new status] [file name] under [Requirement Name] for the [Template Name] Due Diligence application"
Requirement Approval A user approves a specific requirement "[User] approved the [Requirement Name] requirement for the [Template Name] Due Diligence application"
Section Approval A user approves one or more sections of a Due Diligence application "[User] approved the [Section Name(s)] section(s) for the [Template Name] Due Diligence application"

Sections that can appear in Section Approval events: Account Owners, Additional Information, Business Details, Due Diligence Documents, Operational Details.

Note: If an action is system-generated rather than performed by a user, the user displays as "System." Each event also shows the date and time it occurred.

📋 A Note on This Release

The Account Audit Trail is an MVP. This means it covers the most important account history to start, and we'll be expanding it based on what your team finds most useful. If there's something specific you'd like to see tracked, use the "share feedback" button at the top of the audit trail. This feedback goes directly to the product team and helps us prioritize what we will include next!
